Indiana Boys' Split Tri-Meet With Greensburg & Norwin

Tuesday, March 31, 2026 | Greensburg, PA - The Indiana boys split their meets on the day beating Greensburg 99-46 while losing to a tough Norwin squad by a score of 106.5 - 43.5.  The boys were paced by some stellar performances on the track in their effort.  Kaiden Branan won the 800 meters overall with an outstanding early season time of 1:57.40.  Not to be outdone, fellow junior Liam Templeton won the 400 meter race with a fine time of 51.07.  Both individual performances were good enough for top 10 times in IHS school history.  Branan's 800 time is the 5th fastest time in school history while Templeton's 400 time was good enough for 6th best all time.  In addition to those fine times the boys 4x400 relay team of Branan, Templeton, Devon Burney and Lucas Fields won their event with a time of 3:29.71.  That time was good enough for 10th place all time in IHS school history.  Senior Alonzo Farrington and sophomore Pranav Kumar were the boys' other overall winners in their events.  Farrington won the 110 meter hurdle race with a time of 16.07.  Kumar took the high jump with a personal best jump of 5-10.

The Indiana girls fell in both meets losing to Greensburg by a score of 91-58 while falling to Norwin by a score of 137-13.  The girls had some fine performances, but did not win any individual nor relay events in the meet.
