Monday, May 18, 2026 | Indiana, PA - The Indiana baseball team has propelled their way into the WPIAL 4A Championships and is set to have their first game after a first round bye today (5/18). Indiana earned the #1 seed after a strong season which saw the Indians compile a 15-4 overall record while going 8-2 in their section, good enough for a tie in 1st place with their section along with Valley. Indiana has had strong pitching all year, limiting opponents to 3.3 runs per game on average while scoring an average of 7.3 runs per game. The senior trio of Ethan Shank, Sully VanHoose & Charlie Manzi have led the Indians at the dish and on the mound (VanHoose & Manzi). Junior Brady Oakes has been stellar on the bump as well. Junior Chace Force has been intrical with the bat in the lineup as well. 

The Match Up
It's the rubber match of the season as Indiana will face off against familiar section opponent #8 Knoch today. Indiana and Knoch split their regular season series 1-1. Knoch won their first matchup in the WPIAL playoffs against Blackhawk by a score of 2-1. First pitch will be at 4:00 PM.
