Tuesday, April 28, 2026 | New Kensington, PA - The Indiana baseball team got the bats going in the second game of a series with the Valley Vikings on Tuesday after dropping game one by a score of 4-1. Indiana won game two by a score of 11-6 which secured a 8-2 section record and tied them for the section with Valley. Indiana will now play four regular season non-section games prior to the WPIAL 4A playoff bracket being announced.
Chace Force went 2-4 with a double and three runs scored.
Ethan Shank went 4-5 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored.
Charlie Manzi went 3-5 with two RBIs and three runs scored.
Sully VanHoose went 2-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Brady Oakes had a hit and two RBIs.
Shane McHugh had an RBI along with
Jace Brocious and
Hunter Kunkle.
Dylan Shank had a hit and a run scored.
Sully VanHoose went four innings on the mound allowing three runs and striking out six Vikings while
Charlie Manzi came in relief and pitched three no-hit innings while striking out seven.
