Friday, September 30, 2022 | Vandergrift, PA - Indiana spoiled the Kiski Area Homecoming by putting up 48 points in Friday night's rout of Kiski Area with a score of 48-27. 

"Feed Dougherty the ball" was probably what was on everyone's mind during the game Friday night at Kiski Area High School. He was a man on a mission and could not be stopped. Whether it was through the air, or running behind an offensive line consisting of Carson Beatty, Colden Augustine, Benjamin Cochran, Mason Fisher, and Josh Nelson, Dougherty was certainly efficient. 

The game opened with Senior Rourke Jones slicing and dicing his way through the kickoff team of Kiski Area for a 73 yard return which eventually led to Dougherty punching it in from 1 yard out. 

Kiski answered right back with a touchdown of their own on the next drive. 

Trevor Smith's return from injury would also prove to be a deciding factor in the game, setting up some great throws as well as some designed QB draws. Smith would continue the scoring in the second quarter when he ran for a 33 yard touchdown to put Indiana ahead. 

Kiski didn't go lightly as their RB answered on a 95 yard touchdown run a few minutes later. 

Indiana had decided enough was enough and on the very next drive, Smith had a beautiful pass to Dougherty for a 33 yard touchdown. 

Later in the second quarter, defensive playmaker Alvin Liu recovered a Kiski fumble which led to a 36 yard strike from Smith to Liam McFarlane to put Indiana ahead 27-14 going into halftime. 

Opening up the second half, the laundry started flying on almost every drive. 

Kiski would get back within a possession early in the third quarter with a touchdown but then who other than Garrison Dougherty would answer back with a 29 yard touchdown run. 

Indiana stopped every and all momentum when Anthony Kowchuck interecepted a Kiski Area pass. 

The fourth quarter consisted of a 5 yard touchdown run by Levi Porter and Dougherty's 4th and final TD of the game from 5 yards out. 

Up next for Indiana is a home game against Armstrong on Friday, October 7th
