Friday, March 20, 2026 | Indiana, PA - The Indiana girls' lacrosse and new head coach Kira Wertz notched their first win of the season on Monday night routing the Yough Cougars by a score of 18-5. It was a special night in Indiana where the girls' lacrosse team honored youth lacrosse player Hadley Lawer and assisted in raising awareness for juvenile arthritis.
Indiana had five players with hat tricks, those being Addley Schawl, Laken Kugler, Laura Keppich, Emma Palmer & Lyla Russell. Kugler also added four draw controls. Rilyn Caruso had two goals of her own and Samantha Lawson had a goal herself. Indiana was able to spread the ball around and score with seven different players. Aubrey Jewert had a great game in goal, limiting the opposition to three goals during her time in goal in the first three quarters of play. Defensive standouts were Sara Fisher, Paige Fisanich, Addey Hutton & Emily Ferraro.
