Wednesday, April 30, 2025 | Indiana, PA - The Indiana softball team saluted its two seniors and Indiana softball greats Maggie Cunningham and Addie Stossel in an appropriate way on Wednesday, defeating Highlands in a crucial section match by a score of 9-2. This win officially puts Indiana also into the playoffs as they currently stand with a 7-4 section record with one section game to go (@ Derry on 5/5). Indiana is currently in third place in the section (top 4 teams make WPIAL postseason). 

Samantha Martin had another stellar game in the circle, going the distance while allowing two runs and striking out 12 Golden Rams hitters. Rylin Blystone led the way offensively going 3-4 with a home run and two singles while scoring three runs and driving in three Indiana base runners. Kaylee Cass added a double of her own on the day to go along with a single. Addie Stossel was 1-4 with a single, run scored and an RBI. Maggie Cunningham had a run scored and an RBI. Anna Carnovale had a single, run scored and an RBI. Sophia Boyer had a double and a single with two RBIs. Julia Antonacci had a run scored and Sophia Thomas had a double to go along with a run scored and an RBI on the day.
