Wednesday, April 23, 2025 | Indiana, PA - The Indiana softball team has been on a roll lately, rattling off five wins in a row after starting the season with a 1-8 record out of the gate. On Wednesday in an atypical doubleheader, Indiana trounced valley by scores of 16-1 and 16-0 in both games. Both the highest offensive outputs by the Indians on the season. In the first game
Addie Stossel gave up 3 hits and 1 run while going 2 for 2 with 4 RBI'S at the plate.
Maggie Cunningham and
Samantha Martin each had 2 hits. In the second game
Kaylee Cass threw a no hitter and went 2 for 3 with 4 RBI'S.
Claire Brewer was 2 for 3 and
Maggie Cunningham had 2 hits one of which was a home run.
Samantha Martin also had a home run. Indiana currently sits at 6-8 overall with a 5-3 record in the section, good enough to put them in sole place of third. Indiana has some important match ups in the future, three of which are with teams fighting for a playoff spot in the section.
