Wednesday, April 16, 2025 | Greensburg, PA - The Indiana softball team blanked the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions on Wednesday by a score of 4-0.
Samantha Martin went the distance in the circle scattering four hits over seven innings pitched with an astonishing 11 strikeouts for the freshman while also contributing a hit and an RBI for the offense.
Addie Stossel led the way for the Indians at the plate going 2-3 with a double and two RBIs.
Rylin Blystone was 1-3 with a single and a run scored.
Maggie Cunningham had an RBI.
Kaylee Cass was 1-2 with a double and a run scored.
Sophia Boyer had a double on the contest.
Rachel Livermore had a hit on the contest as well.
The win marks only Indiana's third win of the season, however this is their second win in a row as the Indians seemingly have their footing and are continuing to make a push for playoffs.Â
