Wednesday, February 19, 2025 | Indiana, PA - The #7 Indiana Indians girls' basketball team defeated #10 seeded Moon Tigers on Friday (2/14) at a packed house at 5th Street Gymnasium. Leading the way for the Indians was Addy Hutton & Emily Betsinger, both scoring 11 points a piece. Hutton added four assists while Betsinger had nine rebounds. Julia Antonacci & Laken Kugler both contributed eight points for the Indians. Kugler also hauled in five rebounds while Antonacci had six and three assists. Stella Stossel had four points in the contest to go along with three rebounds. Both Emily Ferraro and Lelise Allison may not have been stuffing the stat sheet but they were stuffing Tigers players playing great defense throughout the entire match up and holding the Tigers top scorers in check in the stat book. 

Quarterfinals
Indiana travels to Norwin High School on Wednesday night (2/19) to face the #2 seeded Peters Township in a quarterfinal match up. Both teams are firmly secured into the PIAA playoffs but are now fighting for a spot in the WPIAL Championship. Peters Township holds a 20-3 overall record while going a perfect 12-0 in the 5A Section 4 section. Peters Township averages 58.1 points per game while giving up on average 40.6.
