Monday, December 8, 2025 | Dubois, PA - The Indiana Area Girls Basketball team were crowned champioins at the DCC tournament over the weekend, first defeating St. Joseph's Catholic Academy and then the host team DCC in the championship game. Indiana advanced to 5-0 on the young season and will look to continue their impressive hot streak this week as they enter section play.

Led by 4 scorers in double figures, which included
Julia Antonacci with 16,
Laken Kugler with 15,
Addy Hutton with 12, and
Samantha Martin with 10, the Indians of Indiana defeated St. Joseph's of Boalsburg by a score of 53-46.
DCC Recap
In a game that saw Indiana score 60 points, they took down the Dubois Central Catholic Lady Cardinals in the championship game of their tournament at DCC.
Julia Antonacci and
Laken Kugler led the team in scoring with 12 a piece.
Scarlett Stossel scored 10.
Samantha Martin scored 8.
Addy Hutton tallied 6.
Myla Smith scored 5.
Lelise Allison had 3. And
Sophia Boyer and
Emily Ferraro each had 2. The final score was 60-21.
Up Next
Indiana will open section play on Thursday at home against McKeesport. Tip-off will be at 7:30pm. Indiana will enter the game with a 5-0 record.
