Consistency from bats, consistency in the circle and consistency on the defensive side. Consistency is often what makes a good team great. Another word that can be used to describe the Indiana softball team is
perfection. For the first time in school history, Indiana has finished out a perfect section play, notably they are the
FIFTH team this year to achieve the feat, joining Girls' Tennis, Boys' Tennis, Girls' Swimming & Diving and Boys' Swimming & Diving. This will be the first section championship for Indiana softball since 2016.
Olivia Zimmerman went the distance on the mound in the 7-0 final. In her shutout performance she scattered four hits, three walks and had six strikeouts on the day. Offensively for Indiana,
Maggie Cunningham lead the way going 2/4 with two doubles, a run scored and three RBIs.
Addie Stossel had a double, a run scored and an RBI.
Olivia Zimmerman added to her day in the circle with a home run and two RBIs.

The Indiana softball team will travel to Armstrong on May 2nd for a non-section match up with the Riverhawks. First pitch is scheduled for 3:45 PM.
