Saturday, April 27, 2024 | Marion Center, PA - For the first time in over four years, both the Indiana boys' and the Indiana girls' track & field teams have come out victorius in the 97th Indiana County Principals Track & Field Meet. Indiana boys' amassed a total of 162.5 points, edging River Valley who compiled 115 points. The Indiana girls' totalled 141 points to second place United's 111 points. 

Indiana boys' were led by Stanford Webb who finished first in the long jump with a jump of 20.09'. Webb also finished 2nd in the triple jump with a mark of 38-05.75. Garrett Minnick and Devin Burney finished in 1st and 2nd place in the 800 meter run, Minnick with a time of 2:04.95 and Burney with a time of 2:07.94. Minninck took 2nd in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.10 and 1st in the 800 meter with a time of 2:04.95. The team of Kaiden Branan, Devon Burney, Liam Templeton and Garrett Minnick took 1st in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:31.67. Ben Cochran took hom 2nd in the discus with a throw of 117.01'. Cochran also finished 2nd in the shot put with a mark of 45-08.50. Josh Roumfort took home 3rd in the Pole Vault with a height of 11-06.00. Kaiden Branan finished 2nd in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:57. The 4x100 meter relay team of Roman Jones, Carter Putt, Stanford Webb and Matthew Sebring finished 2nd with a time of 46.07. 

The Indiana girls' were led by Addison Porter who took home 1st in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.66. Porter also took home 1st in the long jump with a mark of 16-02.25 and Emily Ferraro took 3rd with a mark of 15-03.25. Porter then finished 2nd in the triple jump with a mark of 32-08.00. Hannah Cowburn and Plentude Ylonfoun finished 1st and 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles, Cowburn with a time of 16.24 and Ylonfoun with a time of 17.00. Ylonfoun took 2nd in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 50.42. Addison Fry picked up 1st in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.26. Fry also finished 2nd in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:01.43. Fry finished 1st in the 800 meter with a time of 2:26.64. The 4x100 meter relay team of Hannah Cowburn, Emily Ferraro, Kate Mill and Addison Porter took 1st place with ta time of 52.74. The relay of Isabella Brunetto, Kate Mill, Eve Kuzneski and Addison Fry took 2nd in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:27.25. Kaitlyn Wyant took 3rd in the shot put with a mark of 30-03.00. Paige Fisanich took home 2nd in the javelin with a mark of 88-07. Grace Leeper finished 2nd in the pole vault with a height of 8-06.00.
