Wednesday, April 10, 2024 | Indiana, PA - The Indiana girls' lacrosse team extended their winning streak to four games on Wednesday night after defeating Greensburg Salem by a score of 23-6, their largest margin of victory this season. Indiana was leading 15-1 at half and never looked back from there. Indiana was led by the senior trio of
Gianna Brody with five goals,
Kyla Weaver with four goals and three assists and
Kate Lehman with four goals coupled with nine draw controls. Also adding to the scoring were Sam Lawson with two goals,
Tess Kuzneski,
Brynlee Schawl,
Lucia Clark, Gabby Sharp, Addie Lockard, Sarah Fisher,
Ava Elliott and
Kayla Leon with one goal apiece.
Lucia Clark also added three ground balls. Indiana raises their record to 5-2 overall and 4-0 in section play.
Up Next
Indiana was scheduled to play Greensburg Central Catholic this evening (4/11), but to do a bad weather forecast, that game has been rescheduled to 5/7. Indiana's next game now will be on Monday (4/15) when they host Oakland Catholic at 7:00 PM.
