Friday, February 16, 2024 | Indiana, PA - The Indiana girls' basketball team punched their ticket to the WPIAL Tournament officially on Monday when they were selected for the 7th seed in the Class 5A bracket and will face off against the 10th seeded Moon Area Tigers on
Tuesday, February 20th at 7 PM at Indiana Area High School. Indiana finished the year with an overall record of 17-5 and a section record of 11-1, their only loss in the section came from the hands of Penn Hills in the by a score of 41-37.
The Team
Indiana has played consistent defense all year, allowing on average only 36 PPG while scoring 47 PPG. Senior guard
Bella Antonacci has no doubt been the team's leader on the year, averaging 15 points per game with 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Fellow senior forward
Cassie Boyer is averaging 8 points per game with 8 rebounds to go along with it.
Julia Antonacci is averaging 7 points per game to go along with her 39% 3-point shooting percentage.
Laken Kugler averages 7 for Indiana while hauling in just over 5 rebounds per game.
Addy Hutton is averaging 5 points for Indiana to go along with just over 3 rebounds per game. Watch out for

Stella Stossel,
Sera Todd and
Emily Betsinger to check into the game for Indiana and make an immediate impact.
The Opponent
Moon finished the season with a 14-8 overall record and finished 4th in the Class 5A Section 4 Section with a section record of 4-6. The Tigers average 47.3 PPG while giving up just 43.4 PPG. Highlights for the Tigers was a win over Lincoln Park in a home contest where they won 66-53.
