August 19, 2022 | Indiana, PA - Indiana split their 18 hole non-section tri-match with West Shamokin and Hollidaysburg at Indiana Country Club on Friday to take their overall record to (4-1) and (1-0) in the section. Indiana fell to West Shamokin 393-403 and narrowly defeated Hollidaysburg 403-404.
Harrison Martineau was the medalist for the match, shooting a 2 over par 73, which included a one under par 34 on the back nine.
Trevor Todd was next for Indiana shooting a 75.
Caden Force,
Hunter Martin, and
Gabe Nettleton shot 84, 85, and 86 respectively.
Caden Force sealed the one shot victory against Hollidaysburg with a par on the 18th hole to defeat his opponent by one stroke in the final match of the day.
Gabe Nettleton rebounded nicely from a front nine 48 to shoot a back nine 38 and
Hunter Martin played well while seeing his first varsity action. West Shamokin played tremendously well to shoot a 393 on the day. Feshman Alex Talmadge shot 75 to lead West Shamokin. Seniors Sean McCullough and Tyler Geist also each broke 80 by shooting 77 and 79 respectively. For Hollidaysburg, Isaac Miller (75) and Wes Eberhart (76) each broke 80.
