Monday, September 15, 2025 | Latrobe, PA - The Indiana boys' golf team competed in the WPIAL Individual Section Qualifier Monday at Glengarry Golf Links in Latrobe, PA. Four Indiana golfers shot better than the target score of over par 80. Seniors Austin Schawl and Drew Brocious tied for the Individual Section Championship by shooting even par 70. Both Schawl and Brocious finished their day with four birdies to go along with two bogeys, one double bogey and 11 pars. Junior Chace Force (77) and sophomore Beau Raykes (79) also qualified. Force's day was highlighted by a hole-out eagle from 70 yards out on the par 4, fourth hole, while Raykes made nine consecutive pars during the middle part of his round. Nineteen players from WPIAL Section 1 will advance to the first round of the WPIAL Championships next Monday at Willowbrook Country Club in Apollo.
