Saturday, December 7, 2024 | Dubois, PA - The Indiana girls' basketball team went 2-0 and won the tournament championship in Dubois over the weekend after some hard fought victories.
Game 1 vs. Punxsutawney
Indiana Girls Basketball was hitting from all cylinders behind the arc on Friday night as they took down Punxsutawney by a score of 55-17. The Indians knocked down 10 three pointers throughout the game, as
Julia Antonacci hit 5,
Addy Hutton knocked down 3, while
Laken Kugler and Samantha Martin each had 1 as well.
Julia Antonacci led all scorers on the evening with 19 points, a career high.
Game 2 vs. Dubois Central Catholic
Indiana Girls Basketball left the Dubois Central Catholic victorious with the tournament trophy after a win over DCC in the championship game by a final score of 46-29. The All-Tournament team consisted of
Laken Kugler,
Addy Hutton, and MVP
Julia Antonacci. The championship game saw
Julia Antonacci lead the team with 14, including four three pointers, while
Addy Hutton added 11, and three three pointers.
Laken Kugler scored eight,
Emily Betsinger had six,
Emily Ferraro scored two, and
Lelise Allison scored two along with
Sophiana Sidikou who also had two.
