Tuesday, August 29, 2023 | Indiana, PA - The IHS Girls' Varsity Golf team hosted the talented ladies from Norwin at the Indiana Country Club Tuesday evening. Indiana continued to show improvement by gutting out their best performance of the season by far, gaining their second consecutive win in the process in a very close battle by a score of 230-233. Indiana junior, Izzy Slagle, once again led the way in scoring for her team with a 53, followed closely behind by Peyton Scott who fired out a 54, which ended up being a critical turning point in the overall score.
The match medalist was Lena Robb from Norwin who, with her strong play on a course she rarely plays, tallied a 45.
