Thursday, December 21, 2023 | Indiana, PA - A pair of 5-1 teams took the court against each other on Thursday night as the Indiana Girls Basketball Team took on a strong Hempfield squad. The Indians jumped out to a 23-point lead and then safely controlled the 2nd half enough to hold off a strong shooting effort from Hempfield to finish the game. Indiana won by 11-points in the contest with a final score of 49-38. Led by
Bella Antonacci's 16 points.
Cassie Boyer had nine points, with
Laken Kugler following suit with seven points and
Addy Hutton with six of her own.
Emily Betsinger contributed six points with
Julia Antonacci with three and
Stella Stossel had two to round out the scoring for the Indians. Kugler led the team with seven rebounds followed by Boyer with six. Boyer additionally had three assists to lead the team. The JV team also secured a victory by a final score of 30-18.
