Kira Wertz joins Indiana Area Senior High School as the newly appointed Head Coach of the Girls Lacrosse program. She brings a dynamic blend of competitive playing experience, leadership, and a genuine passion for developing student-athletes. Coach Wertz has quickly established herself as an energetic and committed leader who sets high standards for both performance and culture. Coach Wertz brings eight years of playing experience, including competing at the NCAA Division II level.

Her coaching philosophy centers on three core values: work hard, push each other to grow, and always find joy in the game. She is dedicated to creating an environment where athletes develop their skills, support their teammates, and build lifelong confidence through lacrosse. Coach Wertz’s focus on both individual growth and team culture drives her commitment to helping the girls lacrosse program continue to rise.
