Monday, February 26, 2024 - Indiana, PA - The Indiana varsity hockey team has earned a spot in the Penguins Cup Playoff Picture and even secured a first round bye. Indiana is coming off a 15-5 overall season. Two of the losses coming from an OT loss and a shoot out loss. Indiana tied for 2nd in the standings with Shaler, a team that they had beaten 5-4 in their only meeting of the season on December 21st.
Indiana is led by several seniors including Captain
Nate Wood, Alternate Captain
Ash Lockard,
Andrew Kobak,
Cole Amsler,
Jayden Learn,
Carter Mock,
Philip Bell,
Jaiden Myers and
Landin Wilson.
Indiana will now face the winner of the game prior to them between North Catholic & Blackhawk that is to be played on Thursday, February 29th. Indiana has lost twice to North Catholic this year (4-3, 4-0) and has not played Blackhawk this season.
