Tuesday, February 13, 2024 | Mt. Pleasant, PA - The Indiana
swimming and diving teams had one goal going into their last regular season meet and that was win at all costs. The stakes were high, lose and you're co-section champs, win and you make history. After separating themselves with the scores, it was evident it was going to be a sweep from both the boys' and the girls' teams. The boys' won by a score of 109-61 and the girls' won by a score of 100-70, both taking home section champions, the first time that has happened since 2019 and the 14th time in school history that has happened (1997, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019 & now 2024). The history we talk about is that it is believed to be the first time in school history that both teams had a perfect regular season. Perfect meaning that they went undefeated in all dual meets along with finishing 1st place in all invitationals.
