Thursday, January 26, 2023 | Indiana, PA - Coach Sarah Brown strategically coached her Indiana swimmers to a highly anticipated battle over Kiski Area High School Thursday evening in home chlorine at the IUP Field House. Indiana conquered both the boys' and girls' competition by a score of 101-82 (boys') and 102-83 (girls') respectively. Several Individual athletes from IHS had notable performances, including Alex Bauer (1:00.30) and Peyton Scott's (1:04.13) victories in the 100 Breaststroke, Preston Kessler (1:43.29) and Sydney Anderson (1:59.93) in the 200 Freestyle, Preston Kessler (51.24) and Peyton Scott (1:00.42) in the 100 Butterfly, and Alex Bauer (1:56.03) in the 200IM. Both boys' (1:33.46) and girls' (1:48.87) teams won the 200 Freestyle Relay. Freshman Austin Schawl won the boys' diving competition, setting a new school record in the process (261.75).  The boys' team improves to an impressive 8-0 overall, 4-0 in the section while the girls' team stands at an impressive 6-2 overall record, and is also 4-0 in the section.
